On December 13, 2024, the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering of Weifang University and Shandong Yongchuang Company successfully held an internship and study activity aimed at deepening school enterprise cooperation and promoting the deep integration of industry, academia and research.

More than 80 students majoring in Chemical Engineering and Technology entered Shandong Yongchuang, embarking on a learning journey that combines theory and practice. To ensure the safety and smoothness of the internship process, the R&D and production leaders of Shandong Yongchuang conducted pre internship safety education and training for the students, effectively enhancing their safety awareness. During the internship, through on-site visits to the company's exhibition hall, DCS control room, R&D center, production site, warehousing and logistics areas, colleagues from the company explained in detail the development and product situation of the enterprise, as well as the research and development, quality control, production process and other contents to students. Students intuitively felt the working environment and atmosphere of the production site, and gained a preliminary understanding of the factory's operation mode and production process.

In the exhibition hall of the company, colleagues of the company explained the application scenarios and production processes of furan resin, furfural ketone resin, phenolic resin, cold box resin, 3D printing resin, curing agent, casting riser, foam ceramic filter, casting coating and other products to students, so that students had a direct and profound understanding of the company's products and further deepened their understanding of chemical production.

In addition, detailed explanations were given to students on production equipment, process design, instrumentation equipment, automation control, and other knowledge. The current situation of the new materials industry and the development trend of the national chemical industry were analyzed in depth, and a macro perspective of the industry was provided to help students have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the chemical industry.
